We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification.
Our aim
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is an ongoing effort rather than a finished state, and we have not obtained any external audit or certification.
Accessibility options on this site
A floating accessibility button in the bottom-right corner of every page opens a panel of display options. The panel is keyboard accessible and can be closed with the Escape key. It includes:
- Increase or decrease text size
- High contrast mode
- Grayscale mode
- Highlight links
- Readable font (system sans-serif)
- Stop animations
- Reset all options
Your selections are stored in your browser for the current session only and are not sent to us.
Built-in accessibility measures
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable element on each page
- Semantic landmarks for the header, navigation, main content, and footer
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons, and form fields
- Labels associated with every form input
- Reduced motion honored when your operating system requests it
